The Meaning of Blue
Why am I drawn to painting layers of blue? It may be from magical memories of childhood and time spent in clear blue waters. Or, it may be from the incredible and ever-changing skies of New Mexico, particularly the subtle shifts of blues at sunrise and the midnight blues on a clear night. Or, maybe it is simply the process itself—adding depth with each new layer to see what will eventually be revealed.
