Exploration is part of the creative process. Curiosity often pulls me down different paths where I can wander, push my boundaries, learn something new, and get lost for a while. Many times I am tempted to continue on a path—such as abstracted adobes—and eventually I may. It is part of what I love about painting: there is so much to see and do within the confines of a small studio space.
